A laser produces a highly concentrated beam of light.
It is attracted to and absorbed by pigment in the hair
shaft and follicle. The laser pulses just long enough
to eliminate the pigment, but not long enough to damage
surrounding skin. Most people will need an average of
3 to 5 treatments for maximum results and will achieve
a permanent reduction in hair growth an average of 2
years.
